Upcoming Events for 2010/2011:
September 17-19: FALL WOMEN'S RETREAT! The Great Lakes Conference of our denomination is sponsoring two fall retreats for women: September 15-17 (for a midweek retreat) or September 17-19 (for a weekend retreat). Brochures with all the details are at the Welcome Center or you can downlood it now by clicking here.
September 24 - Say Hello meals in homes. This is an opportunity to sign up to share a meal with 6-8 other women in someone's home. It could be brunch, lunch or dinner. Just sign up in the narthex at the Sign Up table, and then you will get a call the week before to tell you where you will be eating. It's that simple - and it's a great way to get to know other women at Thornapple.
October 8-10 - International Justice Conference; The Women's Ministry team has invited the Women at Risk International ministry to be a part of the conference. WAR, Int’l reaches 14 different risks including domestic violence, depression, loss, disease, exploitation, and more. It’s goal is to create circles of protection and hope around women and children at risk through culturally sensitive, value-added intervention projects.
