Horizons – always before us, only changing when our direction shifts.
Are you an empty nester, thinking about retirement, recently retired, not planning to retire, and/or changing your work focus? While committed to inter-generational opportunities, Thornapple recognizes there are good reasons to gather people in the same age or stage of life. The goal for this new group is to provide connection with people facing new horizons, to create space for support through transitions, to encourage spiritual growth and to offer opportunities for service.
We have several upcoming gatherings planned, save the dates on your calendars for:
- Saturday, December 9 | Christmas progressive dinner. Learn more and sign up no later than Dec. 3. Click here for details.
- Saturday, January 13 | Horizons game night at the Harrells at 7pm. All "Horizon" adults are invited to a Court Whist card tournament at Susan and David Harrells home: 8097 Cameron Ct. in Caledonia. You do not need to know how to play the game. Please register in advance and plan to bring a salty or sweet finger snack. If the weather is not good, we will postpone the event until January 20.
