MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPS International exists to meet the needs of every mom - urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy to kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.
Thornapple Covenant MOPS is a local chapter of MOPS International seeking to nurture moms in the Cascade and Greater Grand Rapids area with the love of Jesus Christ. We believe mothers are crucial to the well being of our families, communities, country, and world. To this end we support moms in becoming the best mom they can be!
Childcare Workers Needed
We are seeking kind and caring childcare workers to work alongside a team of others during our MOPS. Applicants would need to be available twice a month, 1st and 3rd Thursdays, from 9-11:30am September-May and we compensate at $10 per hour (paid monthly). We serve children ages 5 months to 6 years in various nurseries and classrooms. Our schedule follows the Forest Hills School calendar (breaks at Christmas vacation, snow days and spring break). Please contact Kim Mulder at firstname.lastname@example.org or 616-957-0580 to receive application and background check information. Candidates attend a brief interview/orientation meeting before working with children in the program.
