Donating to Thornapple
The ministry of Thornapple depends on our gifts of time, talent, and resources throughout the year.
There are a number of different methods that you can choose to send donations to Thornapple. Even when you are out of town there are easy ways to continue supporting God's ministry through Thornapple. Donations are always kept confidential.
Here are some of the ways to donate financially:
1. One method is by Direct Debit. We have been asked by some church attendees if we are able to automatically withdraw their tithes and offerings from their bank account. The answer is “Yes”! We have the capability to directly debit your checking account on a regular basis. If you are interested in this service, please download, complete and submit the Direct Debit form to the church bookkeeper, Brenda Veen. She will contact you to confirm that the automatic debit is in place. For confidentiality, please place the form, with a voided check in an envelope and mark it to the attention of Brenda Veen. You may either place the envelope in the offering plate or return it to the church office (see address in #4 below).

2. A second method is through your banks bill pay program. With this method you simply set up Thornapple as an account you pay, just like you would for the electric company or any other account, in your bank's online bill paying program. List your name in the account number field. Then, when you want to send a donation to Thornapple, simply choose the amount and the date that you want the bank to send your contribution to Thornapple just as you would when you pay your bills. The bank will issue a check and mail it to Thornapple on the date you indicate.
3. A third method is by simply bringing your contribution to church on Sundays and placing it in the offering plate.
4. Mail: If you are away, you may also mail your check to Thornapple to Brenda Veen's attention. The mailing address is: Thornapple Covenant Church, 6595 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Again, donations are always kept confidential.
