Senior Scene

The Senior Ministry at Thornapple Covenant Church is called Senior Scene.  Seniors from Thornapple and senior friends from the community gather regularly for engaging events.

There are opportunities for fellowship and fun throughout the year: Day trips, a Christmas brunch, Hymn sings and other gatherings.  

Senior Scene Sunday Potlucks for the remainder of 2012 are: June 24 and October 7

The Soup and Study group meets September through early June on the first and third Fridays of each month at 10 am. Seniors come to hear a special speaker who shares a message on various spiritual topics.  The event includes a time for fellowship and eating a delicious lunch together.  Check the website calendar for Soup and Study meeting dates on the first and third Fridays September through early June.  Seniors are welcome to come to any of the Soup and Study gatherings.  No RSVP is necessary.

Meeting dates for 2012 Soup and Study: January 6, January 20, February 3, February 17, March 2, March 16, April 20, May 4, May 18, and June 1. Then the group will take a break over the summer and resume meeting in September. For information on Soup and Study, click here.
